About Elibelinde
Elibelinde is a traditional motif found in Anatolian kilims. Its name means “hand on the waist”, and the motif is a stylized figure with its hands on its hips. This design shows the figure in bold red, navy and yellow, with two small birds, two ram’s-horn symbols and a zigzag border.
The design has no words, so it works for anyone who loves kilim patterns and folk art. It is a small reminder of home for families with Turkish roots.
