Roots & Talks is a store run by Turkish4kids LLC ("we", "us"). We sell gifts and other items that carry the Roots & Talks characters. Our store runs on Shopify. This policy explains how we collect, use and share your personal information when you visit the store, place an order or write to us. If our Terms of Service and this policy differ on how we handle your personal information, this policy applies.
Please read this policy. When you use the store, you confirm that you have read it.
Personal information we collect
"Personal information" means information that identifies you or can reasonably be linked to you. It does not include information that cannot identify you. Depending on how you use the store and where you live, we can collect:
- Contact details: your name, billing address, delivery address, phone number and email address.
- Payment information: your payment method, transaction details and payment confirmation. Our payment provider handles your card details. We do not store your full card number.
- Account information: your login details, preferences and settings, if you create an account.
- Order information: the items you view, add to your cart, buy, cancel or report a problem with.
- Messages to us: what you write when you contact support, including photos you send.
- Device information: your device, browser, network connection, IP address and other identifiers.
- Usage information: how and when you use the store.
Where we get it
- From you: when you create an account, place an order, or write to us.
- Automatically: from your device when you visit the store, using cookies and similar tools.
- From service providers that work for us, such as Shopify, our payment provider and our print partner.
How we use your personal information
- To run the store and fill your order. We take your payment, send your order to be printed, arrange delivery, send order updates and handle reports about damaged, wrong or lost items.
- To talk to you. We answer your messages and give you support.
- For marketing. We send you emails about the store if you ask for them, and we show you ads for our items on the store and other websites. You can opt out at any time (see "Your rights and choices").
- For security and fraud prevention. We protect payments, accounts and the store, and we check for fraud and abuse.
- For legal reasons. We follow the law, answer valid legal requests and protect our rights.
Print and delivery partners
We do not make or ship items ourselves. Printful, Inc. prints your item after you order it and sends it to you. To do this, we send Printful your order and your delivery details: your name, delivery address, phone number and email address.
Printful works for us. It uses your details to fill your order and for no other purpose of its own. Its terms with us do not allow it to sell or share your details, to use them outside its work for us, or to combine them with information from other sources. Printful can use its own service providers, such as cloud hosting, fulfillment partners, analytics and email providers. Printful has facilities in the United States, Mexico, Canada and Europe, and partner facilities in Brazil, Japan and Australia.
Printful passes your delivery details to the carrier that delivers your parcel. Carriers we use include USPS, FedEx, DHL and DPD, and a local postal service can complete the final delivery. On your tracking page, you can give your email address to get status updates for your parcel. Printful's own privacy policy is at https://www.printful.com/policies/privacy.
Our print partner keeps your order details while we use its services. It deletes them when we ask it to, or later if the law requires it to keep them.
How we share personal information
We can share your personal information with:
- Shopify, which hosts the store and handles checkout.
- Payment providers that process your payment.
- Printful and carriers, as described above.
- Other service providers that work for us, such as IT, analytics, email, customer support and cloud storage.
- Marketing partners that help us advertise to you. For example, we use Shopify to support personalized advertising with third-party services based on your online activity across merchants and websites. These partners use your information under their own privacy notices. Depending on where you live, you can tell us not to share your information for targeted advertising. You can opt out here.
- Others you ask us to share with, or when you agree to it.
- Our group companies and, in a business sale, merger or bankruptcy, the new owner.
- Authorities and others, where the law requires it, to enforce our terms, and to protect the store, our rights and the rights of other people.
Shopify
Shopify hosts this store. Shopify collects and handles personal information about how you use the store to provide and improve its services. Your information can go to Shopify and to third parties in countries other than yours. We also use some Shopify features that combine data from your visits to our store with data from other merchants and from Shopify. For these features, Shopify is responsible for handling your personal information, including your requests about it. To learn more, read the Shopify Consumer Privacy Policy. Depending on where you live, you can use your rights through the Shopify Privacy Portal.
Links to other sites
The store can link to sites that other people run. When you follow those links, read the privacy and security policies of those sites. We are not responsible for them.
Children
This store is for adults. Parents and guardians can order for a child. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under the age of majority where they live. If you are a parent or guardian and you think your child gave us personal information, write to us at support@lundiva.com and we will delete it. We do not have actual knowledge that we sell or share personal information of people under 16 years of age.
Security and keeping your information
No security measure is perfect. Information that you send us can be at risk while it travels. Do not send sensitive information in an unsecure way.
We keep your personal information as long as we need it to fill your order, keep your account, follow the law, settle disputes and enforce our terms. When we no longer need it, we delete it or make it anonymous.
Your rights and choices
Depending on where you live, you can have some or all of these rights. They are not absolute. In some cases we can say no, as the law allows.
- Access: ask for a copy of the personal information we hold about you.
- Deletion: ask us to delete your personal information.
- Correction: ask us to correct information that is wrong.
- Portability: ask us to send your information to you or to another company, in some cases.
- Opt out of sale or sharing for targeted advertising: use this page. If your browser sends the Global Privacy Control signal and the law of your place requires it, we treat the signal as a request to opt out for that browser and device. If we can link your device to a Shopify account, we apply the request to the account too. To learn more, visit https://globalprivacycontrol.org/. We do not respond to other "Do Not Track" signals.
- Marketing emails: use the unsubscribe link in any email. We can still send you messages about your account or your orders.
To use a right, write to us at support@lundiva.com or use the links above. We can ask you to prove who you are before we act. You can ask another person to make a request for you. We will ask for proof that you allowed it. We will not treat you worse because you used a right.
Complaints
If you have a complaint about how we handle your personal information, write to us at support@lundiva.com. Depending on where you live, you can also appeal our decision, or complain to your local data protection authority.
Moving information to other countries
We and our service providers can move, store and handle your personal information outside the country where you live. This includes the United States and the countries where our print partner works. When we move personal information out of the European Economic Area or the United Kingdom, we use recognized safeguards, such as the European Commission's standard contractual clauses or the UK equivalent, unless the country already offers an adequate level of protection.
Changes to this policy
We can update this policy, for example when our practices or the law change. We will post the new version here, change the "Last updated" date and give notice where the law requires it.
